Everything you need to know before you pre-order your Kimos.

1. Does Kimos really boil water, or just keep it warm?

Kimos truly boils water. It heats water from tap temperature (around 20–25°C) all the way up to 100°C in about 4 minutes, with visible steam release. Most portable devices on the market can only maintain heat or reheat already hot water, while Kimos is engineered to fully boil water from cold.

2. How is Kimos different from a regular thermos?

A traditional thermos only keeps water hot and gradually loses heat within a few hours. Kimos works differently — you pour in cold water, press one button, and it boils on demand, wherever you are. There is no need to plan ahead or carry hot water with you.

3. How long does it take to boil?

It takes approximately 4 minutes to reach a full 100°C boil from room temperature (20–25°C).

4. How many boils can I get on one charge?

You can get up to 4 full boils on a single charge, depending on the starting temperature of the water and environmental conditions.

5. Is it safe? What about steam and overheating?

Yes, Kimos is designed with safety as a priority. It includes a patented steam-release mechanism, automatic shut-off and overheat protection. It is built for safe use in portable environments such as cars, planes, hotels and outdoor settings.

6. Do I need an outlet, cable or power bank?

No. Kimos is fully battery-powered and works without cables during use. You only need to recharge it at home using the dedicated charger included with the bottle.

7. Can I use it on planes, in cars and hotels?

Yes. Kimos is specifically designed for use in travel situations such as airports, hotel rooms, road trips and campsites. When flying, always follow your airline’s rules for carrying lithium-ion devices.

8. What can I make with it?

You can prepare anything that requires boiling water, including baby formula, coffee, tea, instant soups, noodles, dehydrated meals, oatmeal, and hot water for cleaning or sterilization.

9. How big is it? Will it fit in my bag?

Kimos has a 330 ml capacity and a compact design. It fits easily into most travel bags, backpacks and strollers. It may fit in some car cup holders, depending on their size.

10. What does the $5 pre-order mean?

The $5 is a deposit that secures your place in the first production batch and locks the lowest available price of $150.
This deposit is applied toward your final payment.
Please note that the $5 deposit is non-refundable, as it covers reservation and processing costs.

11. When will I receive my Kimos?

Production molds are already in progress. Pre-order batches will be shipped in upcoming production waves. You will receive an email with your exact shipping window and tracking details once your order is ready.

12. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom and most of Europe. Additional regions will be added as production scales. Final shipping options are shown at checkout.

13. What warranty do you offer?

Each Kimos includes a 12-month manufacturer warranty covering defects and battery performance. If an issue occurs within this period, we will repair or replace the product.

14. What if I change my mind?

You can cancel your reservation at any time before the final payment is charged.
